Here at Coolibar we work hard to educate adults and kids about the importance of staying SunAWARE. Our friends at Abbey’s Hope, a local Minnesota non-profit, are just as serious about pool safety.

Our last Coolibar employee cook-out was not only inspired by the 4th of July, but the by the hit TV show “Minute to Win It”! Guess you could say that we at Coolibar may take our jobs seriously (and sun protection seriously), but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Just another reason Coolibar is so cool (wink). The 2011 Coolibar School Sun Hat Contest had over 750 entries from students, teachers, PTA members, and nonprofit organizations from across the US. We even had a few entries from Australia! Thanks to the efforts of the five lucky winners, entire classrooms of students will be able to safely enjoy the summer sun, and stay well protected beneath their new Coolibar Sun Hats!
